Print Driver Installation

A print driver is software that acts as a translator between your computer and your printer. In order to use any RISD printers on campus, you have to download their specific drivers.


This website has the print drivers for all printers in DC 301 and DC 701.






































Right click on the driver you want and “save link as.”









The installer will download to your computer. Open it and double click the “popup-installer.pkg” box.







The Pharos Installer will open. Follow the instructions.




Install takes 5+ minutes, be patient!




Repeat with all the drivers you want and you’re ready to print!








IMPORTANT When you’re done downloading one driver, make sure to DELETE it from your  computer before downloading the next driver. It WILL NOT WORK if you don’t delete it.Mac (DC301)
